Sport

Today after lunch the whole of Whetu went out to play sport. We played Cricket and Baseball, We started off doing a running warm up. Then Red and Green played Baseball first, Blue and Yellow played cricket first.I had one bat then we had to swap to fielding, we got back into batting a couple of minutes later. I didn't get a home run because we already had ran out of time. Overall in base ball we Won !!!. In cricket I didn't know what the score was in the end. Then all the sport was over and we headed for the Whetu classrooms. When we got inside we sat down and waited for our reading logs to be handed out, we got them and dropped them in our bags. Then off we went to our parents I had a great day. Please feel free and comment.

My Flower Art

I have art on Thrilling Thursday with Mrs Heaven. First we started off rolling out our air dry clay, then we cut out our flower like the flower shape we wanted, we cut out three shapes. Then we pressed different textures down on the clay and we let it dry. The week after that we painted our flowers, we could paint our flowers any colour we wanted. You could also paint them any shade of colour we wanted.

Then we stuck our flowers together and that is what they looked like.
